Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

PURPOSE

This procedure defines and details the function, reporting relationships, responsibilities, duties and performance expectations of the Digital Marketing Specialist.

BASIC FUNCTION

The basic function of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to support brand development and digital presence for Srixon/Cleveland Golf/XXIO by assisting in marketing analysis and content creation related to, but not limited to: website/digital, email marketing, training materials, social media, and launch campaigns.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The Digital Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Marketing Director.

The Digital Marketing Specialist has no direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for:

  • Analyzing web traffic and behavior, recommending improvements, and tracking growth.
  • Planning, executing, tracking, and reporting on digital advertising campaigns targeting segmented audiences.
  • Assist with email marketing to both B2B and B2C Channels.
  • Assist with planning and executing launch campaigns.
  • Assist with copy and content creation for Srixon, Cleveland Golf and XXIO global brand marketing.
  • Miscellaneous coordination and administrative support.

TRAVEL

A low amount of travel should be expected.

EXPECATIONS AND MEASUREMENTS OF PERFORMANCE

The Digital Marketing Specialist at Srixon/Cleveland Golf/XXIO must be an expert on golf equipment -comfortable writing about golf equipment every day - and an expert in digital marketing. This employee is deemed to be performing in a satisfactory manner when the following are being accomplished:

  • Deadlines: Projects and tasks are effectively managed through completion in a timely fashion deadlines/milestones are met.
  • Communication: All information, reports, and progress associated with projects and executions are communicated effectively with stakeholders.
  • Quality of Work: Content created is free from errors and aligned with brand positions and strategies.
  • Teamwork: Projects and interactions with colleagues are constructive, collaborative, professional, respectful, and effective.
  • Employee Development and Attitude: Employee shows growth in job knowledge, versatility, communication, and marketing skill. Employee should be able to ascend to marketing management.  
  • Ownership of Digital Marketing Analysis and Tracking: Employee must show great passion for analyzing and tracking traffic web behavior, and have a drive to hit target KPI’s and continually improve the digital marketing function.

The basic function of the Email Marketing Specialist is to execute high-quality, targeted email marketing campaigns for Srixon/Cleveland Golf/XXIO and Dunlop Sports. This includes, but is not limited to planning, executing, tracking, and reporting on all brand emails and automations to consumers and dealers.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The Email Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Marketing Director.

The Email Marketing Specialist has no direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for:

  • Manage email marketing for Cleveland Golf / Srixon / XXIO and Dunlop Sports in both the B2B and B2C channels.
  • Daily tracking and monitoring of KPI’s to show quantitative improvement.
  • Assist with growing customer databases, including segmenting into target groups.
  • Assist with planning and executing launch campaigns.
  • Assist with copy and content creation for Srixon, Cleveland Golf and XXIO global brand marketing.

Senior Graphic Designer – Marketing

Description
This experienced and creative design professional will provide leadership in the design, coordination, and development of all graphical initiatives for the Marketing/Brand team. They should demonstrate a high level of proficiency in design and application knowledge. A primary focus of this position will be to develop original creative concepts as well as producing POP, Point of sales, photography and promotional collateral. This position reports to the Art Director/ Media Design Manager.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the direction of creation and production of Marketing/Brand proposals, presentations, multimedia pieces, marketing collateral, discussion documents and internal projects.
  • Working closely with the Marketing/Brand teams to provide creative concepts, develop creative ideas and graphical treatments, blend photography, imagery, charts, text, and multimedia elements and art direct photography to create high–impact sales collateral, advertising, in-store POP and promotional graphics.
  • Ensure a creative yet consistent look and feel that adheres to and supports the brand(s), visual identity, legal guidelines/requirements, and messaging.
  • Work effectively with Art Director/ Media Design Manager to develop compelling visual concepts and themes for marketing products and services.
  • Manage the flow of work and appropriate graphics resources to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Must be able to conform to a high-pace working environment with sometimes limited direction from management.
  • Own the overall project, not just the design, effectively support projects and teams, and demonstrate creativity, effective oral and written communication, listening and decision making skills.

Background Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
  • 4+ years of related work experience in marketing or communications, preferably supporting multiple internal or external clients in a high-traffic design environment.
  • Proven skills and educational training in art direction, typography, layout, composition, color theory, and information design; multimedia/motion graphics design experience a plus.
  • A rich portfolio of work examples in a variety of medium (printed materials, advertisements, graphics, multimedia, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of complex design projects and synthesize direction from many individuals.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and develop creative design within tight deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter and be willing to hunt down information to complete projects.
  • Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management.

Specific Skills

  • Proficiency with MAC platform and tools: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Video Production and Editing, Photography is a plus

Job Title:  FIELD SERVICE REP
Department: SALES
Location: Minneapolis, MN & Long Island NY
Position Type: FULL TIME
Travel: Up to 100%

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Field Service Rep will have two primary components:

  1. Provide support in driving sales performance within a territory
  2. Excellent customer and consumer satisfaction thru field activities

The FSR will work with the Independent Sales Rep to partner with retailers from a golf specialty store to a green grass golf shop to deliver the products, experiences and brand stories that make SRX/CG/XXIO the preeminent golf brand portfolio. The team of two will work to ignite the brands and accelerate sales and distribution growth well above company averages. The FSR will keenly understand consumers, the marketplaces and SRX/CG/XXIO products. They will collaborate with the Independent Sales Rep to work on Marketing, Merchandising, Trial, and Product Placement plans for each territory. Responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns to generate new prospects and improve client retention.

TYPICAL DUTIES:
Typical duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Ball Fitting Events - technical assistance in providing consumer recommendations on proper golf ball selection Wedge Clinics - conducting Scoring Clinics with local golf professionals to help wedge fit consumers XXIO Experience Days – provide consumer trial events at local XXIO dealer locations Retail Merchandising – updating brand presence at local retailers including POP, inventory, and display assembly Account Development - conduct sales presentations to grow product distribution within a territory Staff Training - conduct education and training events for dealers within a territory Field Updates – provide detailed updates of competitor field information and territory trends Weekly Call Reports – completion of weekly call reports and event scheduling

EDUCATION / SKILLS:

  • 1-3 years of Sales Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must have golf industry, retail and/or education (i.e. PGM Program, Golf Academy) experience
  • High-energy individual with strong multi-tasking, selling skills, and relationship building skills
  • Passion for the Srixon/CG/XXIO brands and products
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellence at managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings
