New Srixon Z Series Irons Feel Even Better

Combining ultra-soft 1020 carbon steel head material with a new special heat treatment (only for Z 765 and Z 965), the new Srixon Z Series irons are precision forged for the smoothest, most consistent feel. The lower carbon content promotes a softer forged feel than other materials used by competitors, but the softer material does not impact distance performance.

Improved Spin Control With Larger Grooves, Double Laser Milling

The groove cross section area for the new Srixon Z Series irons is 5 percent larger than the previous generation. The larger grooves allow more debris to be channeled away from the face at impact, which improves contact for better friction and more consistent spin.

The Double Laser Milling Technology increases the amount of face surface roughness, which also stabilizes spin. The result is more spin control and tighter dispersion, especially in wet conditions or the rough.
