SRIXON’S KARRIE WEBB WINS MIZUNO CLASSIC

ATLANTA, GA, November 6, 2006
Srixon Staff Professional Karrie Webb won her fifth tournament of the season at Kashikojima Country Club in Mie, Japan on Sunday.  Webb shot 38 bogey-free holes from the 17th hole on the first round through the rest of the tournament with the Srixon W-506 Driver, Srixon Z-URS golf ball, and Srixon I-302 forged irons. Webb had 69-67-65 for a 14-under par, 202 total. She remains 2nd on the official ADT Money List.

Hall of Famer Webb has now collected over $2 million in a single season, the first time she has accomplished this and only the second player on the LPGA to do so this season. She has 12 top-10 finishes this season including wins at the LPGA’s first major of the season, the Kraft Nabisco Championships to go along with her victories at the Michelob Ultra Open and the Evian Masters.  All of her wins came in tournaments with world-class fields. This is Webb’s 35th career victory. In November of 2005, Webb was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
