Furyk Moves Up Five Spots Since Switching to Srixon Clubs and Golf Ball

ATLANTA, GA, September 11, 2006
In less than a month,Srixon Staff Professional Jim Furyk has moved up two places in the Official World Golf Rankings and is now ranked 2nd in the world, up five spots from the beginning of the season when he put a full arsenal of Srixon golf clubs and golf ball in his bag. Furyk heads into the Ryder Cup armed with Srixon’s W-506 driver, Srixon I-506 irons, Srixon wedges, and the soon to be released Srixon Z-URC golf ball. Furyk, the 2003 U.S. Open Champion, has had a remarkable season since switching to Srixon this year. He won yesterday’s Canadian Open for his second win of the season to go along with his victory at the Wachovia Championship in May. He has a remarkable 10 top-4 finishes this year and 11 top-10s overall, and has now earned over $6MM in official prize money for the season – a career best. Furyk now has 12 career victories and is one of only 5 multiple winners on the PGA Tour in 2006. Srixon Staff Professionals have amassed 32 Top 10s on the PGA TOUR this season including Furyk’s two wins and John Rollins’ victory at the B.C. Open. Not to be outdone, on the LPGA Tour, Srixon’s Karrie Webb has earned 3 wins including a major, the Kraft Nabisco Championship and stands 2nd on that ADT Money List.
