Srixon Staff Professional Michael Harris won his first event on the
Canadian Tour in dramatic fashion at the Bay Mills Open Players
Championship in Brimley, Michigan on Sunday, August 29th. Harris
chipped in twice for birdie and once for eagle on his final nine holes
and then birdied the 18th to enter into a playoff. Harris won the first
playoff hole with a birdie. Harris, who played with Srixon’s Z-UR golf
ball and I-302 irons, shot a 13-under par, 275 total (70-70-69-66).
This
win moved Harris from 4th place to 1st place on the Canadian Tour money
list and awards him an automatic exemption into the 2nd stage of the
PGA Tour’s Q-school and the PGA Tour's Canadian Open next month.
