ATLANTA, GA, August 7, 2007 -
Srixon Sports, a world leader in golf club and golf ball technology, announces the new
P-700 Putter Series.
The new P-700 putter series blends Srixon’s digital impact technology
with visual sight lines to create putters with high Moment of Inertia
(MOI) and incredible stability. The putters are constructed of milled
aluminum with a soft Urethane insert for optimal feel. The new P-700
series of putters comes in two mallet shaped models; P-718 and P-719.
P-718
The P-718 features a stainless steel weight ring around the perimeter
of the mallet shaped head that increases the MOI and reduces tendencies
of over or under rotating through the hitting zone. The triple sight
line alternating in red and white covers the intended target line
allowing golfers to be aggressive through impact.
P-719
The P-719 features a cylinder-shaped alignment aid inside the mallet
shaped head. This in-body alignment cylinder creates a continuous
field of vision from putter to ball to intended target. In addition,
the cylinder alignment aid provides confidence at address and reduces
the tendency for a tentative stroke leading to over or under releasing
at impact.
The P-700 series will be available in golf shops and golf specialty stores in October for a suggested retail of $199.
