ATLANTA, GA, July 18, 2005 -
Srixon Staff Professional John Rollins tied for 2nd at the B.C. Open
at En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott, New York on Sunday, July 17th.
Rollins, who played with Srixon’s Z-UR golf ball and Srixon Prototype
forged irons, shot all four rounds in the 60s (67-68-64-66) for a
23-under par, 265 total, and was a co-leader up until the eventual
winner made a birdie on the 72nd hole. This is the former Canadian Open
Champion’s best finish of 2005.
On the Japan Ladies
Tour, Srixon Staff Professional Junko Omote won her second tournament
in a row this Sunday playing with Srixon’s Z-URS golf ball to win the
Stanley Ladies with a 12-under par total.
On the
Ladies European Tour, Srixon Staff Professional Samantha Head tied for
2nd place at the OTP Bank Ladies playing with Srixon’s Z-UR golf ball
to shoot a 10-under par total.
