ATLANTA, GA, June 20, 2005 -
Srixon Staff Professional Tim Clark tied for third place at the U.S.
Open at Pinehurst Number 2 on Sunday, June 19th. Clark, who was one of
just a handful of players to shoot even par on Sunday, played with
Srixon’s Z-UR golf ball to finish at 5-over par for a 285 total
(76-69-70-70). Clark, who already has one win on the European Tour this
season, along with three Top 4’s on the PGA Tour, moved up nine spots
to 27th place on the Official World Golf Rankings and 18th in overall
Scoring average.
Srixon now secures three places in
the Top 25 on the PGA Tour’s Money List; Clark’s $320,039 paycheck
moved him to 23rd on the Money List, while Tim Petrovic, the Zurich
Classic of New Orleans champion, is ranked 24th and 2006 Ryder Cup
Captain Tom Lehman is 25th.
