Furyk, who started the final day of play just 3 strokes off the lead, fired the lowest final round score of the top 5 finishers relying on Srixon’s W-506 driver, I-506 irons and Srixon wedges Srixon’s Z-UR prototype. Furyk shot a 6-over par, 286 total (70-72-74-70), to finish 1 stroke back of the winner. Furyk continues to hold his number 5 ranking in the world.

Since switching to Srixon, Furyk, the 2003 U.S. Open Champion, has had a banner season. He has 5 Top 3s this year, including a win at this year’s Wachovia Championship and is ranked third on the 2006 PGA TOUR money list. His 6 Top 10 finishes rank him third in that category.
