ATLANTA, GA, June 5, 2006 -
Srixon Sports announces today the hiring of Jason Hause as its new
Nationwide Tour /Developmental Player manager. Hause will be
responsible for identifying, recruiting and managing up-and-coming
players for Srixon’s Nationwide Tour staff and joins the
ever-growing Srixon presence on the professional tours.
Hause comes to Srixon with extensive experience as both a
professional golfer and excellent evaluator of talent. After a
collegiate career at Arizona State, which included a 1996 National
Championship and time spent playing various tours including the
Nationwide Tour, Hause worked as a player manager for Hambric Sports
Management, one of the golf world's renowned player management firms.
While at Hambric Sports, he was tasked with the specific
responsibilities of scouting and recruiting collegiate stars and other
up-and-coming players. Most recently, he was responsible for recruiting
players for the Big Stakes Match Play event at Highline Sports and
Entertainment.
“Jason is an encyclopedia of
knowledge with regard to the newest generation of collegians and tour
players,” said Mike Pai, Srixon’s Vice President, Marketing
& Advertising. “His eye for evaluating talent, and his
relationship with many of today’s fine young players cultivated
during his years at Hambric Sports will be a huge asset to our growing
tour presence in the U.S. Jason also gives an added measure of
credibility with this group of players since he has competed with them
on the Nationwide Tour. I think it also makes a statement about
Srixon’s dedication to the Nationwide Tour and its significance
to the future of our brand,” added Pai.
Hause graduated from Arizona State University in 2000 with a degree in Finance and currently resides in Dallas.
