ATLANTA, GA, April 17, 2006 -
Srixon Staff Professional Jim Furyk narrowly came in second place at
the Verizon Heritage on Sunday, April 16, 2006 at Harbour Town Golf
Links in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Furyk, who shot a 14-under par,
270 total (64-67-6-71), made precision shots all day long with a full
bag of Srixon equipment; Srixon's Z-UR prototype ball, Srixon's W-506
driver, I-506 irons and Srixon wedges. Furyk, who stands 7th in the
Official World Golf Rankings moved into 9th place on the 2006 PGA Tour
money list. Furyk also continues to secure the second place ranking in
driving accuracy percentage on the PGA TOUR. This marked Furyk's third
Top 3 finish of the season.
Also at the Verizon
Heritage, Srixon Staff Professional Tim Clark tied for 7th place at
10-under par, 274 total (72-65-68-69) playing with Srixon's Z-UR
prototype ball and Srixon forged irons. Clark, who last week came in
solo second place at The Masters with a dramatic hole out from the
greenside bunker on 18, moved up one spot to 14th in the Official World
Golf Rankings. He also moves to 15th on the 2006 PGA Tour money list.

Staff Professional Wayne Perske won the Japan Golf Tour's first event
of the season, the Token Homemate Cup at Token Shuga Country Club.
Perske played with Srixon's Z-UR prototype ball and Srixon forged irons
to shoot a remarkable 21-under par, 267 total with all rounds in the
60s (64-67-69-67). With this win Perske climbed an astonishing 580
places in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Srixon has now collected a total of 15 Top 10s on the PGA TOUR this season.
