SRIXON'S KARRIE WEBB WINS KRAFT NABISCO CHAMPIONSHIP
Hall of Famer Wins Professional Golf's First Major Tournament of 2006

ATLANTA, GA, April 3, 2006
Srixon Staff Professional Karrie Webb won the LPGA's first major, the Kraft Nabisco Championship, in dramatic fashion on Sunday, April 2, 2006. Starting the final day of play 7 shots behind the leader, Webb made 5 birdies and an incredible eagle on the 72nd hole to catapult to the outright lead for the first time in the entire tournament and eventually prevail in a playoff.

Standing on the 18th hole, 1 stroke behind the leaders, Webb relied on the precision and distance control of the Srixon Z-UR prototype and Srixon forged irons to hole out from 116 yards for the eagle. Webb, who also plays with Srixon's W-506 Driver then calmly birdied the first hole of the sudden death playoff to win her second Kraft Nabisco title. Webb fired a 9-under par, 279 total (70-68-76-65) and is now in 3rd place on the ADT Official Money List. This was the 7th major of her illustrious career and her 31st career LPGA title.

In November of 2005, Webb was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
