SRIXON’S NIRAT CLAIMS FIRST EUROPEAN TOUR TITLE
Rollins and Lehman Record Top 5s on PGA Tour

ATLANTA, GA, March 19, 2007 -

Srixon Staff Professionals around the world recorded high finishes using all 3 balls in Srixon’s remarkable Z-UR series. Chapchai Nirat won his first ever European Tour title at the TCL Classic at the Yalong Bay Resort in Sanya, Hainan Island, China with blistering rounds of 61-66-68-71 for a 22-under par total 266. Armed with the new Srixon Z-URS golf ball and Srixon I-302 irons, Nirat fired a course record 61 in the opening round and never looked back. In fact his opening 61-66 for a 17-under par total of 127 is only one stroke off the all time European Tour scoring record for 36 holes. The 23 year-old Nirat, nicknamed “King Kong” for his stocky build and prodigious drives, becomes only the third man from Thailand to record a victory on the European Tour. It is Srixon’s second victory of the 2007 European Tour season to go along with Henrik Stenson’s win at the Dubai Desert Classic in February.

On the PGA Tour, Srixon Staff Professionals John Rollins and Tom Lehman finished in a tie for 5th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge, Orlando, Fl. Both men finished with 3-under par 277 totals in extremely difficult conditions characterized by high rough and firm greens. Rollins, playing with Srixon’s Z-UR golf ball and I-302 irons continues his tremendous 2007 season with his third top 5 of the year to go along with 2 second-place finishes. He currently remains 4th on the season-long FedExCup points race. 2007 United States Ryder Cup Captain Tom Lehman recorded his first Top-5 of the year using Srixon’s Z-URC golf ball.

Srixon Staff Professionals have now recorded 13 top-10 finishes on the 2007 PGA Tour including World Number 5 Henrik Stenson’s win at the WGC- Accenture Match Play Championship. This was also the 9th of 11 events total on the PGA Tour in 2007 in which Srixon staffers recorded at least one top-10 finish. Srixon currently has 4 players in the Top 20 on the FedExCup Points list (Rollins – 4th; Stenson – 10th; Robert Allenby – 14th; World Number 2 Jim Furyk – 18th).
