ATLANTA, GA, February 28, 2005 -
Srixon Staff Professional Karrie Webb won the Ladies European Tour's
ANZ Ladies Masters for the fifth time on Sunday, February 27, 2005 at
Royal Pines Resort in Gold Coast, Australia. Webb, a future LPGA Hall
of Famer, played with the new Z-UR prototype golf ball, I-302 irons,
and W-403AD driver to shoot a 16-under par, 272 total (70-68-67-67).
Webb
started the final day of play four shots behind the three-day leader.
She overcame the deficit in just three holes on Sunday-going
birdie-eagle-birdie on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th holes consecutively. This
win marks Webb's 31st career victory.
Meanwhile,
Robert Allenby also played with a Z-UR prototype, I-302 irons, and
W-403AD driver into the quarterfinals at the Accenture World Match Play
Championships at the La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, CA. Srixon
staff players and the new Z-UR golf balls have now earned a total of
three wins across the globe, plus seven Top-10 and five Top-5 finishes
on the PGA Tour.
