GARTH MULROY FINISHES SECOND ON EUROPEAN TOUR WITH Z-URS GOLF BALL

ATLANTA, GA, January 14, 2008
Srixon’s newest staff player and Nationwide Tour member, Garth Mulroy, finished second last weekend at the Joburg Open in Johannesburg, South Africa.  Mulroy’s final round 66 earned him a spot in a three-man playoff. The 29 year-old South African lipped out his birdie putt on the first playoff hole and settled for runner-up honors and a paycheck of €101310.

This was Mulroy’s first event using the Srixon Z-URS golf ball and his strong runner-up finish validated his off-season switch.  Demonstrating pinpoint accuracy all week and a soft touch around the green, Mulroy finished the 4-day tournament at 13-under par.  Mulory returns for the start of the Nationwide Tour at the Movistar Panama Championship.

The Srixon Z-URS golf ball consist of the softest urethane cover the company has ever created. The ball provides soft feel on all shots from tee to green and greenside spin control on approach shots. The ball features a high trajectory 330-dimple pattern that provides a strong and penetrating trajectory in all wind conditions.
