Srixon Sports announces today they have signed the PGA TOUR’S Qualifying Tournament winner Brian Davis. Davis, who is an international standout on the European Tour, will play as a full-time PGA Tour member in 2005 and will play with Srixon’s I-302 irons, W-403 driver, and play with a soon-to-be-released Srixon prototype golf ball.

“Brian has proven that he is a world class player and a proven winner in his seven seasons on the European Tour,” said Richard Stamper, Srixon’s President. “We believe that his high level of play will translate into being in contention and collecting wins on the PGA TOUR during 2005. He’s already proven he can win in the U.S. with his impressive victory at one of the most pressure-packed events any golfer could face,” added Stamper.

“My years competing with and winning against some of the world’s best in Europe has shown me exactly the things I need to do to be successful,” said Davis. “You first have to start with confidence that you are playing the best equipment there is, and I have found that in Srixon. Their technological expertise means that I am playing with advanced equipment that only one company can make. That company is Srixon,” added Davis.

Davis was a winner at the European Tour’s ANZ Championship in 2004, among his three Top-10 finishes. In 2003, he was ranked in the Top 10 in the Volvo Order of Merit, and was in contention to make the 2004 European Ryder Cup Team.
